Meet the Midwife:

Kennedy Logan CPM, LM (Rhode Island license pending)

(she/her/they/them)

Hi there! I’m Kennedy, the midwife behind Little Hollow Midwifery. I always knew I wanted to work with people in holistic ways that honored the physiological processes of the body. My midwifery journey began in 2015 when I attended my first home birth. I was awestruck by the transformational power of birth, and haven’t looked back since. As I started my formal training in 2019, I began to have language for the deficits in our reproductive healthcare system and recognized how midwives could help fill the gaps. I became licensed in my home state of Oklahoma in 2022 and practiced in both the home and birth center setting before deciding to move back to New England in the summer of 2025.

Here at Little Hollow, it is my goal to make all of my clients feel seen, safe, and supported during general wellness visits, their pregnancy, and in the raw moments of birth. I believe in creating warm spaces that encourage people to feel comfortable in being vulnerable. I value lived experiences along with evidence to create a care plan that is individual to each of my clients. Birth is as sacred as our bodies, and people deserve to choose when to bring small ones into their lives, how they give birth, where they birth, as well as who they birth with.

Why choose a midwife?

Whether it’s for your annual physical wellness exam, help getting pregnant, or care during your pregnancy, I believe midwifery-led care can be a great option for anyone looking for care out of the hospital or in the comfort of your home. Midwives are trained in trauma-informed care to ensure a feeling of support and safety during your visits. I actively strive to uphold an anti-racist, gender affirming, harm reduction framework within my practice.

For people with low risk pregnancies, home birth is considered a safe option. Those planning a home birth have lower rates of intervention, lower rates of cesarean birth, and higher rates of satisfaction with their care. Midwives are experts in normal pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care.
